Note: Water bills are mailed on the 20th and are payable at the Town Hall by the 15th of the following month.
Regular meeting is on the 4th Monday with a work session held on the previous Tuesday; both begin at 7:30 p.m. in council room at Town Hall.
Normally scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of the month; held in council room at Town Hall at 7:00 p.m., as required. Call Town Hall to confirm meetings.

Saturday; 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Curbside trash pickup is on Tuesday mornings - Place trash cans at curb the night before or the morning of scheduled pickup and remove receptacles as soon as possible after pickup.
Lawn debris (grass, leaves, small twigs, etc.)- Place at curbside not earlier than the night before for a Monday pickup.
Brown and white goods(old furniture and/or appliances)- Place at curbside not earlier than the night before for a Tuesday pickup.
Liberty Recycling Center
Newspapers, magazines, plastics, glass and aluminum cans can be taken to the recycling left behind the ABC Store at 423 West Swannanoa Avenue
Hours of operation are between 7 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 1pm. Call 622-4276 if you require assistance or if oil, antifreeze or other petroleum products are to be recycled.
The Town’s leash law requires animals be kept in a dwelling or substantial structure and on a leash when off the owner’s property. The Liberty Police Department (622-2323) administers animal control.
