As chief of Liberty Fire Department, I would like to take this opportunity to express my pride in our department. We have a department made up of members who unselfishly give of their time and talents to protect our community. One person does not make a department, without the dedicated people that give their time and energy to our department we would not exist.

MISSION STATEMENT:

It is the mission of the Liberty Fire Department to provide the best possible fire, rescue and life safety services. The ultimate goal of each member of this department is to protect lives, prevent injury, save property and make a difference in our community. We strive to meet these goals by providing information and education to all citizens and, as a department, by staying educated, prepared and professional. We take great pride in the services we provide to the citizens of our community, as we value the part we play in the business of helping people.


Asbestos Awareness:


We have added a link to help our citizens to potential hazard of asbestos that may be present in older homes. This link is provided by the National Asbestos and Mesothelioma Center and was created specifically to be an educational resource to help promote asbestos exposure safety and awareness.
